Watermelon & Mint Body Scrub

Who doesn't love Summer, when watermelon and mint are both at their best?

You'll love this amazing sugar scrub, not only because it smells wonderful, but because it's actually good for your skin. Watermelon has lots of Vitamin A, B6 and C, which are all great for healthy skin. Mint has strong antibacterial properties, and contains salicylic acid, which is also good for skin.

Ingredients

handful of fresh mint, finely chopped
1/4 cup watermelon chunks, seeds removed
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Buzz watermelon and mint in a blender or food processor. (You can also just mash them well with a fork.) Strain through a fine mesh strainer.

In a small bowl, add sugar, lemon juice and olive oil. Stir well. Add watermelon/mint juice by teaspoons until you have a somewhat creamy consistency. Add more sugar if it gets too runny.

Use in shower to brighten and freshen skin. Smells heavenly and leaves skin really soft.
