Carrot, Ginger & Honey Masque
With Easter just around the corner, this seems like a perfect time to put those extra carrots to work making your skin healthier!
Carrots offer a high-dose of Beta-carotene or vitamin A and Vitamin C to help keep skin younger and may even help prevent sun damage. Ginger contains lots of antioxidants that help prevent free radical damage, evens skin tone and improves elasticity. Honey is a natural antibacterial.
Ingredients
2-3 large carrots
1" fresh ginger
4.5 Tbsp honey
Instructions
Grate carrots and ginger very finely, or buzz in a food processor*. Add honey and blend well. Pat this mixture onto face hands, or anywhere you need a boost of antiaging. (You can also use the pulp of carrots after juicing - just add a little of the carrot juice back in.)
Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with cool water.
*If you juice carrots, you can use the pulp instead, just adding back some of the carrot juice.
